Your new little bestie will be here before you know it, and waiting until they are here will make life a little stressful if you still haven't booked in a new born photographer. Newborn Photography sessions are best booked in within the first 14 days of baby's precious little life, and most of us are booked up months in advance! After this time babies are more awake, are harder to settle and can even develop colic and baby acne.
If you contact me in the first trimester of your pregnancy, we can lock off a tentative booking for you and then lock off a firm date when more information becomes available, or you have baby.
When you arrive home from hospital with your brand new baby you can contact us to arrange a suitable time and day for your session.
We offer studio sessions in the beautiful brand new Flagstone Studio, or for Mums that aren't up to leaving home so early in babies life, or for any reason cannot leave home, we now offer in home Newborn Lifestyle Sessions. Our fully equipped new studio has everything for your session ready to go, including light refreshments, nappies, wipes, wraps, blankets, headbands and bonnets, outfits and backdrops. All you need to bring is a smile and babies milk!
Sessions take place ideally in the morning around 9:30am as I have found that this is the time that baby is usually most settled and happiest and the light indoors is usually the creamiest.
While I do supply all props, blankets, wraps etc. but you are more than welcome to bring along something sentimental that you would like included in your session, after all, these images are for you to treasure for all time and live proudly on your walls!
As we have baby undressed during our sessions, the room is usually kept nice and warm to keep baby happy, so we do recommend wearing light clothing and bringing plenty of water and refreshments for the shoot.
If you have older siblings and you are coming to the studio, we recommend bringing another parent or grandparent that can take older siblings after they have their images taken either to a nearby park or somewhere that is more fun for them. We offer free wi-fi for older siblings to watch their portable devices.

New-born sessions here at KWP Studios Flagstone are held in our constantly cleaned residential studio. All staff members hold a current Blue Card, have current First Aid Certificates and are current in new-born safety courses.
Everything needed for your session is provided by KWP Studios so all your sleep deprived minds need to remember is some milk for baby :) And it's perfectly fine if you fall asleep on our comfy couch!
